Workshops and Group Sessions
I am passionate about supporting those who spend their lives caring for others. I have led workshops and group sessions for doctors, nurses, medical assistants, mental health professionals, attorneys, and other support staff. Many of us who enter the helping professions are bleeding hearts and/or wounded healers, leading us to experience higher rates of compassion fatigue and burnout.
Despite working in teams/organizations, many of us feel alone in our struggles or worry about burdening others with our suffering. In my experience in running these workshops and groups, participants feel more supported in receiving and asking for help and emotionally connected with their colleagues.
Workshops include but are not limited to Navigating Conflict, Healthy Communication, Trauma-Informed Care, and Mindful Healing. Group sessions involve collaborative, experiential holding spaces used to increase insight into the interpersonal aspect of the practice, which leads to increased empathy with clients and oneself. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
